An extraordinary aspect of the Saget brothers adventure is that they were able to retain the soul of a Pouilly Fumé producer in the business that was handed down to them by their father Jean-Louis. And this despite the diversification of the enterprise and the size it to which it has grown in the Val-de-Loire region. The brothers are a twosome in all senses of the word. Arnaud is a fighter and a thinker. Laurent is active and curious. They work hand in hand, each with his own personality. While Arnaud claims a spiritual philosophy, is passionate about soccer and strums the guitar, Laurent is into the fine arts and identifying artists with whom to partner for the domaine’s communications. Saget has grown, and after a review, it was found to include 50 different job descriptions. The enterprise has conquered America where it has become established on the market. But it retains its roots. Its external growth has been led by a group rooted in its Loire terroir, and run by two committed young leaders. Today they can already boast of having 12 hectares (30 acres) under biodynamic cultivation. It stands as a model.
